Join SBPL and Legal Aid Foundation of Santa Barbara County for a free workshop in Spanish designed to help you and your family prepare for unexpected emergencies. This workshop will provide practical steps to help protect your loved ones and build confidence in your emergency plan.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Create a personalized preparedness plan for their household
  • Gather and organize important documents
  • Identify trusted contacts and emergency supports
  • Access community resources and additional guidance

The session will include interactive activities, time for questions, and take-home

When: Thursday November, 20, 2025 | 5:00-7:00 PM
Where: Eastside Library, MLK Jr. Room (1102 E. Montecito St.)
Parking: Available in the lot behind Eastside Library.

This session will be held in Spanish with bilingual staff available in person, and will also be offered simultaneously via Zoom. Please register to receive the Zoom link. For online participants: session materials can be picked up at the Eastside Library a few days before the workshop so that you can follow along with the session.
