The University of Toledo's College of Medicine and Life Sciences will host its first Residency and Fellowship Fair as it supports medical students seeking residencies and current residents seeking fellowships in the Ohio and Michigan region.
Approximately 100 students are expected to attend and network with an estimated 30 residency and fellowship program representatives from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Lloyd A. Jacobs Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center on Friday, May 1.
"We are very excited for our inaugural residency fair at The University of Toledo," said Dr. Matthew N. Graber, assistant dean of graduate medical education and emergency medicine program director for the College of Medicine.
"It's a great chance to both showcase the incredible programs that we have at UToledo and in the area but also an opportunity for students to engage with program leaders and current residents to explore opportunities such as research and mentorship."
This inaugural event offers students a valuable opportunity to learn more about training pathways and engage directly with program representatives.
Numerous UToledo programs and regional programs are set to participate in the residency and fellowship fair, including Mercy Health, Kettering Health and Cleveland Clinic Akron General.
