A public hearing to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Jamor James

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., to consider the possible pardon of sentence for Jamor James. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams.

Those planning to access the hearing must complete the online registration form no later than October 14, 2025. Public hearing guidelines and access information can be found here.

Jamor James was sentenced to a term of 2 years to 10 years, and $618 F/C/R (Fines/Costs/Restitution) for the crime of Armed Robbery. Jamor James was sentenced on June 12, 2000, out of Kalamazoo County.

Crissa D. Blankenburg, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.

This hearing is required by state law prior to consideration of any pardon by the Governor.
