On November 11th, Amb. Jiang Feng, Head of the Mission of China to the African Union, met with H.E. Mrs. Francisca Tatchouop Belobe,The AUC Commissioner for Economic Development, Trade, Tourism, Industry and Mining (ETTIM), in the presence of Minister Counselor Lyu Ruihao.
Amb. Jiang congratulated H.E. Belobe on her new appointment, and stated that China-Africa relations are at their best in history. The trade between China and Africa has repeatedly reached new heights with great potential for cooperation in economic, trade and other areas. As a trusted partner of Africa, China is willing to work with Africa to implement the outcomes of FOCAC Beijing Summit, promote practical cooperation in multiple areas, and jointly build an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future for the new era. Amb. Jiang also introduced the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, zero-tariff treatment, and China International Import Expo (CIIE).
H.E. Belobe spoke highly of China's long-term contribution to Africa's economic development and industrialization, warmly welcomed the convening of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and implementation of zero-tariff treatment to African countries that have diplomatic ties with China, and expressed her willingness to deepen high-quality economic and trade practical cooperation with China to promote Africa's industrialization process.
