The City of Santa Fe Office of Economic Development (OED) is proud to share the recipients of the 2025 Economic Development Excellence Awards, which recognize projects and initiatives that are building a diverse and robust economy, one that engages local talent, fosters innovation, and delivers prosperity for all New Mexicans.
Now in its second year, the awards span multiple categories, showcasing the breadth and impact of economic development work across the state. These initiatives highlight the collaborative spirit of New Mexico communities and the tangible results being achieved.
"These awards recognize two important and different ways that Santa Fe's economy continues to diversify and thrive. The Canyon Road Summer Walk is a community celebration that brings our city together and takes us back to our roots. The Native Business Coordinator Program calls attention to the many talented Native American entrepreneurs who contribute their unique gifts to the Santa Fe business scene. Both are outstanding efforts and deserve this recognition," said Mayor Alan Webber.
We look forward to honoring this year's winners at the Governor's Conference on Economic Development, September 24-25, at Isleta Resort & Casino. Click here for more information about the event.

Through these initiatives, the Office of Economic Development demonstrates its ongoing commitment to empowering businesses, fostering partnerships, and creating opportunities that strengthen communities statewide.
