Citadel Credit Union Launches Video Banking

Video Connect offers real-time, face-to-face access to the Member Care team at Citadel.

Members can now get customer service and account opening needs through Citadel Video Connect.

EXTON, Pa., June 1, 2021- To allow members to easily get the help they need directly and from the comfort of home (or anywhere), Citadel Credit Union has launched Citadel Video Connect. The new tool lets members chat face-to-face with a Citadel Video Specialist in a secure environment from a laptop, desktop computer, or mobile device using the Citadel Video Connect app.

"At Citadel Credit Union, we pride ourselves on offering a personal and genuine member experience. The goal of Citadel Video Connect is to give our members that face-to-face interaction and the ability to bank from anywhere," said Mike Schnably, Senior Vice President, Citadel Credit Union. "Getting assistance from a human and having a virtual conversation with video allows our members to have that personal connection, while they get answers, apply for a loan, or open a new account."

Video Connect offers real-time, face-to-face access to the Member Care team at Citadel. The tool serves as a virtual branch and is open Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm, and Saturday from 9:00am-1:00pm. Users simply connect via the device of their choice using the app (mobile or desktop) and select "Connect Now" during business hours. From there, users typically speak face-to-face with a Citadel Member Care representative within 15 seconds.

In addition to Video Connect, Citadel now offers members and non-members the ability to schedule an appointment online. Appointments can be scheduled for any branch or a phone call can be scheduled with the Member Care team.
