The newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait presented copies of his credentials

On May 11, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials from Turki Khalid Hamad Al-Mikrad, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Uzbekistan.

The prospects for further expanding the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kuwait were at the center of the agenda.

The sides noted that the state visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kuwait in February 2025 elevated bilateral relations to a new level.

The parties also discussed strengthening cooperation within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council, as well as other international and regional organizations.

The Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador great success in his responsible and honorable activities in Uzbekistan.
