Tulane to celebrate employees with week of special events, giveaways and discounts

Tulane University will celebrate the faculty and staff who make the university thrive with a week of giveaways, special discounts, complimentary coffee and opportunities to recognize colleagues during Employee Appreciation Week, Oct. 19-24.

Organized by Tulane's Office of Human Resources, the annual celebration recognizes the dedication and contributions of employees across the university's campuses, from supporting students and advancing research to keeping daily operations running smoothly.

The festivities begin Monday, Oct. 19, with the opening of an employee raffle featuring prizes such as New Orleans hotel stays, Jazz Fest tickets, technology products and virtual gift cards. Employees can enter the raffle beginning at 8 a.m., with winners announced Friday, Oct. 23.

Throughout the week, employees are also encouraged to recognize their colleagues by sending virtual "Kudos Cards" expressing appreciation for their work and contributions to the Tulane community.

On Wednesday, Oct. 21, Tulane will treat employees to a complimentary medium-sized beverage of their choice from 8 to 11 a.m. at participating locations across the university's uptown and downtown campuses and the Tulane National Biomedical Research Center.

Employees can also take advantage of special discounts on dining, technology and Tulane Athletics tickets throughout the week. Offers include discounted meals at participating campus dining locations, savings at PJ's Coffee and special pricing on MacBook Pro bundles through Technology Connection.

For employees looking to get active, Campus Recreation will offer complimentary access to the Reily Student Recreation Center on the uptown campus and the TU Fitness Center downtown.

The celebration concludes Saturday, Oct. 24, with the Employee Appreciation Football Game. Employees can purchase discounted game tickets and RSVP for access to the Capital One Fan Deck, where complimentary food, drinks and raffle prizes will be provided by TIAA.

Employees should bring their Splash Cards to access participating offers and recreation facilities.
