SCO Secretary General Met with Angola's Ambassador
On October 16, 2025, a meeting took place at the Secretariat of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Beijing between Secretary General Nurlan Yermekbayev and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the People's Republic of China Dalva Allen.
At the request of the head of the diplomatic mission, the Secretary General spoke about the history of the SCO's formation and development, the main outcomes of the SCO summit held on August 31 - September 1, 2025, in Tianjin, China, the ongoing process of improving the SCO's activities, as well as other current agenda issues.
SCO Secretary General Met with Angola's Ambassador
The Ambassador of Angola, in turn, highly appreciated the role and significance of the SCO in maintaining peace and security, as well as in promoting economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation within her region of responsibility. She also expressed Luanda's interest in developing closer ties with the Organization.
The conversation took place in a friendly atmosphere.
