Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs leads the Thai delegation to the 32nd Ministerial Council of the OSCE in Vienna

On 4 - 5 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, led the Thai delegation to attend the 32nd Ministerial Council Meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), hosted by Finland as Chair-in-Office in Vienna, Austria. The meeting was attended by Foreign Ministers and senior representatives from the 64 OSCE participating States, as well as from the Asian and Mediterranean Partners for Co-operation.

The Vice Minister delivered statements at the Plenary Session, the Working Lunch, and the Asian Partners for Co-operation and Troika Meeting. He reaffirmed Thailand's active engagement, as a key Asia Partner for Co-operation, with the OSCE and its role to strengthen collaboration between the OSCE and ASEAN in the future. He also encouraged the OSCE to prioritize efforts to combat cybercrime, particularly online scams, and to further enhance cooperation with the Partners for Co-operation.

The Vice Minister reiterated Thailand's readiness to host the International Conference on the Global Partnership Against Online Scams on 17 - 18 December 2025 in Bangkok, as well as the 2026 OSCE Asian Conference, to be co-hosted with Finland next year. Both events aim to advance cooperation in combating transnational organized crime, especially online scams, while strengthening cybersecurity. He also extended an invitation to representatives of OSCE participating States and Partners for Co-operation to attend these conferences.
