Central Police University Hosts the Law Enforcement Artifacts Donation and Taiwan-U.S. Exchange Ceremony

The Taipei Office of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) donated two sets of law enforcement uniforms and related historical artifacts to the Central Police University (CPU). To mark this occasion, CPU set up a special exhibition area in the World Police Museum and held a grand donation and Taiwan-U.S. exchange ceremony on May 14, 2026. HSI Regional Director Jeremiah Gonzalez flew to Taiwan to personally attend the event, leading a U.S. delegation alongside Brian Sherota, the Director of the AIT HSI Taipei Office. With the theme "Universal Justice, Jointly Witnessed by Taiwan and the U.S.," both sides gathered at the World Police Museum to celebrate the fruits of Taiwan-U.S. cooperation.

He highlighted that the partnership between HSI and Taiwan's law enforcement agencies is a prime example of working hand-in-hand to achieve a common mission.

Bound by a shared commitment to enhancing global security, they will build a strong line of defense for justice. CPU remains dedicated to international cooperation; through seminars, special lectures, and case studies, the university strives to elevate training for Taiwan-U.S. law enforcement collaboration. This initiative will deepen ties with frontline operational units, deliver robust research support, and advance the mission of "Universal Justice."
