COLUMBUS, OHIO (January 26, 2026) - Worthington Steel, Inc. (NYSE: WS) announced today the results of its "70 for Good" initiative, a yearlong, employee-driven program created in honor of the Company's 70th anniversary. Throughout 2025, employees across 14 U.S. and international locations contributed nearly 5,000 volunteer hours and supported 78 nonprofit organizations, surpassing the Company's original goal of 70.
"Worthington Steel has been strong for 70 years because of the people who come to work every day committed to doing what's right," said Geoff Gilmore, president and CEO of Worthington Steel. "Since our founding in 1955, our success has always been rooted in service - to our customers, to one another and to our communities. '70 for Good' reflects that identity at our core."
As part of the Company's Strong for Good anniversary campaign, teams partnered with local organizations addressing food insecurity, community development, veteran support, environmental stewardship and other critical needs. Activities ranged from assembling meal kits and hosting donation drives to participating in community cleanups and fundraising events.
"70 for Good" is separate from, and in addition to, the Company's philanthropic support through The Worthington Companies Foundation, which distributed $3.1 million to 73 nonprofit organizations during fiscal 2025. Foundation investments focus on Health, Human Services, Youth & Education and Civic Causes.
