ASPPH looks forward to connecting with members and colleagues at the American Public Health Association's (APHA) 2026 Annual Meeting & Expo, taking place November 1-4 in San Antonio, Texas. Throughout the meeting, ASPPH will host sessions and networking opportunities focused on timely issues shaping academic public health, including artificial intelligence, public health policy, and healthy longevity.
ASPPH will host several sessions highlighting important developments and opportunities across the field. On Monday, November 2, discussions will explore ASPPH's Artificial Intelligence Framework and the implications of federal policy decisions for protecting public health as a professional field. On Tuesday, November 3, ASPPH will host Vision to Action: Putting Healthy Longevity into Practice, alongside an Undergraduate Network Hot Topic Session.
Attendees are also encouraged to connect with colleagues during the Undergraduate Network Social Hour and the invitation-only Primary Representatives Reception on Sunday, November 1, as well as the ASPPH Assembly Social Hour on Tuesday, November 3.
ASPPH will be available at Booth 1737 in the Henry B. González Convention Center from November 1-3. Members are encouraged to stop by to connect with ASPPH staff and learn more about ongoing initiatives and opportunities for engagement.
The majority of ASPPH-hosted sessions are free to attend and do not require APHA registration, with exceptions noted on the event agenda. ASPPH also proudly sponsors the Academic and Practice Linkages in Public Health Caucus.
ASPPH looks forward to seeing members in San Antonio and encourages attendees to explore the full schedule of sessions and networking opportunities.
