Celebrate the End of Summer with Brevard County Libraries

Brevard County Libraries is proud to be promoting its Summer Reading Program. With the theme of "Dinosaurs in Space", Library staff host exciting programs and activities that encourage our community to keep reading.

As summer comes to a close, Brevard County Libraries invites you to continue the fun at their End of Summer Celebration! This free, family-friendly event will be hosted at the Franklin T. DeGroodt Memorial Library on August 1, from 10 am - 12 pm. Attendees will be able to enjoy fun activities like a silent disco, dinosaur-themed craft projects, win raffle prizes, and more.

Brevard County Libraries also have grand prizes for those who participated in their Summer Reading Challenge! Readers aged 17 and under have the chance to win a $50 Walmart gift card, while participants 18 and over have the chance to win a $50 Publix gift card! All entries must be made in person at any of the 17 Brevard County Library branches. Grant funding for these gift cards was generously provided by the Eau Gallie Rotary Club.
