Severe Weather Shelters Are Open Through Sunday at Noon

Safety is our top priority during severe weather conditions. See the latest forecast.

  • Please call 911 for emergencies or life-threatening situations.
  • If you are concerned about someone during cold weather, call Washington County Non-Emergency at 503-629-0111 to request a welfare check. If someone outside is unsheltered and their life appears to be in danger, call 911.

Severe Weather Shelters Are Open

Washington County's severe weather shelters are open 24 a hours a day through Sunday, January 25 at 12 pm to serve community members experiencing houselessness.

  • For shelter, present in person. Everyone is welcome and no one will be turned away.
  • Hot meals are provided & pets are allowed. Please be prepared to work with shelter staff to follow pet policies.

  • If you need transportation to a shelter, please call 503-846-4722.
    Note: This phone number is only available when severe weathers shelters are open.

If you are experiencing a frozen or broken water pipe and unable to thaw the pipe or locate your water main shut off valve, contact Hillsboro Water immediately for an emergency water shut off.
