Suspect Arrested After Fatal Road Rage Shooting

(October 10, 2025) Fatal Shooting stemming from a road-rage type incident where the suspect was arrested and charged with Murder.

Frisco, TX - On 10/9/2025, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Frisco Police Officers responded to a shooting in the parking lot of Frisco High School, located at 6401 Parkwood Blvd. The incident stemmed from a road rage confrontation.

Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male victim with multiple gunshot wounds and immediately began life-saving measures. EMS personnel from the Frisco Fire Department transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Robert Taylor of Plano, age 34.

The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Jason Bartik of Celina, was detained at the scene. After a thorough investigation by Frisco Police Department detectives, Bartik was taken into custody and formally charged with murder.

This incident did not involve any students, and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains active, and no further details will be released at this time.
