Greetings to the Abkhazia – Investment in the Future international economic forum

The message reads, in part:

"I am delighted to greet you at the Abkhazia - Investment in the Future international economic forum which brought together government officials, representatives of public organisations, experts and businesspeople from Russia and Abkhazia, as well as foreign guests, in the city of Sukhum.

I would like to emphasise that Russia firmly supports the sovereign development of Abkhazia and actively contributes to its economic stability and security. Strengthening it is an unconditional priority of ours. Today, we can enjoy positive results of our joint work in such spheres as transport and tourist infrastructure upgrading, energy, agriculture, and trade.

Russia-Abkhazia partnership is of comprehensive nature. This is why it is vital to put active effort in all promising areas and promote projects in various sectors. We do not just help each other like good neighbours do, but bring mutually beneficial relations of cooperation and integration to an entirely new level. We sincerely wish for Abkhazia to become a modern state, comfortable to live and work in.

I am confident that we have all the tools to significantly expand our cooperation potential and fill it with ambitious ideas and initiatives."
