About the Artists:
For decades, Reverend Horton Heat have lived their lives by the Gospel of Rock & Roll! The Reverend's commandments are simple: rock hard, drive fast, and live true. The Texas-based band's founder, Jim Heath, is a "Revelator", both revealing and reinterpreting the Country-Blues-Rock roots of American music. Their iconic music is ingrained in pop-culture, with credits spanning film, television, and even video games.
The Rhythm Shakers are a late 50's / early 60's Rock and Roll band except for one major difference; they are very comfortable with living in the present. Their unique sound layers nostalgic Rock & Roll, Soul, and the Blues with modern music. Singer Marlene Perez's powerful vocals evoke Tina Turner and Amy Winehouse.
