The Toledo Chapter of the AI Collective will host its inaugural event on Thursday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m. in the Brady Center at the University of Toledo's College of Engineering. The panel discussion will explore the transformative impact of AI on Toledo's local industry, featuring keynote speaker Dr. Lian Cheng, professor and chair in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, alongside regional technology leaders.
Registration and additional information is available at the event's website.
In parallel, Toledo Codes - a UToledo student-organized community of software developers, designers and entrepreneurs - is accepting applications through Friday, Sept. 26, for its Fellowship Program. This intensive six-to-eight week bootcamp enables University students to design, build and deploy technology solutions addressing real civic challenges in Toledo.
Fellows will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and practices while creating meaningful impact in their community.
