Berkeley College will host "Fashion, Law, and AI: Navigating the Global Fashion Industry," an industry-focused webinar designed to help global fashion entrepreneurs, brands, designers, and lawyers understand laws regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the fashion industry. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, from 12 to 2 p.m. The event is open to students, fashion professionals, and the public.
This webinar was developed by Berkeley College and the Fashion Law Academy Africa to address gaps in fashion law knowledge with a focus on import/export processes, intellectual property rights, AI, and retail operations between Africa and the U.S. markets.
"The intent of the webinar is to meet at the intersection of fashion and legal studies," said Linda Mauro, Associate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships. "Berkeley College wants to bring to the forefront the discussion on the importance of creatives, specifically out of Africa, and to realize the importance of the legal side of intercontinental business."
