Kim Whitlock Joins First American Title Insurance Company as Director of Strategic Business Development for Agency Division

First American Title Insurance Company(opens in a new tab/window), a leading provider of title insurance and settlement services and the largest subsidiary of First American Financial Corporation (NYSE: FAF), announced today that Kim Whitlock has joined the company as director of strategic business development for its Agency Division. In this role, Whitlock will lead strategic business development initiatives, strengthen relationships across First American's network of independent title agents, and develop programs, systems and solutions designed to help First American Title's policy-issuing agents thrive.

"Kim understands the agency business from every angle, and she has a proven ability to bring people together," said Steve Vincini, president of First American Title's Agency Division. "Her experience, her relationships across the industry and her commitment to helping title professionals succeed make her a strong addition to our team as we continue to invest in the growth of our agents."

Whitlock brings extensive title insurance experience to First American Title, with a career spanning both the underwriter and agency sides of the industry. Most recently, she led national title production operations at a large national underwriter.

"First American Title's Agency Division focuses on a simple idea: when agents succeed, everyone in the transaction benefits," Whitlock said. "I have spent my career on both sides of the underwriter and agent relationship, and I know firsthand how much it matters to have a partner who listens, solves problems and shows up. I am excited to bring that perspective to First American Title and to help our agents build stronger, more resilient businesses."

Whitlock is also the founder and president of Women in Title, a national organization dedicated to uplifting, connecting and advocating for women throughout the title insurance industry. Since launching the organization in 2022 with a vision of building a community rooted in collaboration, rather than competition, she has grown Women in Title into a nationwide movement of more than 10,000 members with 45 active chapters. In 2025, the American Land Title Association honored Whitlock with its Our Values Award in recognition of her work with Women in Title.

Whitlock remains actively involved in the broader title community through her local land title association and ALTA initiatives, and she is a frequent speaker at industry events on leadership and the future of the title profession.
