At the 2026 State of the City event, Mayor Cassandra Chase unveiled three retro playground designs inspired by iconic equipment that once stood in some of Lakewood's most beloved parks.
These designs celebrate the generations of children who grew up climbing, sliding, spinning and imagining in Lakewood parks and invokes the nostalgia of those who explored and enjoyed them way back when.
From shirts and mugs to stickers and tote bags, these items are a fun way to show Lakewood pride and celebrate the playground legends that shaped our childhoods.
