IDSA makes progress in legal challenge to RFK Jr.’s changes to vaccine policy

IDSA and our co-plaintiffs recently made positive progress in the legal challenge to Health and Human Services Secretary Kennedy's unilateral and unlawful changes to vaccine policy. Calling the case one of national importance, the judge in the U.S. District Court in the District of Massachusetts ruled Oct. 30 in favor of our motion requesting that this case move forward promptly despite the federal government shutdown. A December hearing is expected on the government's motion to dismiss the case. Assuming IDSA and our co-plaintiffs defeat that motion, a trial is expected in early 2026.
