Bridgepoint School to Relocate to Spring Heights Community in Saratoga Springs, Utah

Lake Mountain School District facility will provide educational services to up to 150 interns with special needs; relocation highlights more than 40,000 square feet of recent leasing activity

PLEASANT GROVE, UT - Lake Mountain School District has announced plans to relocate its Bridgepoint School to Spring Heights, a 17-acre mixed-use business community developed by St. John Properties, Inc. in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Expected to open at its new location in January 2027, the school will provide educational services to up to 150 interns with special needs. The relocation is among five recently completed leases at Spring Heights totaling more than 40,000 square feet of space. The community is located at the intersection of Redwood Road (UT 68) and Hardman Way (1990 N). Scott Gifford, Vice President of Leasing for St. John Properties, represented the landlord in the transactions.

Additional leases were signed with Avative, a fiber-optic internet service provider; The Appliance Outlet Oren, a discount home and kitchen appliance retailer; EMI Health, a nonprofit health benefits and insurance provider; and a medical user.

According to Julie King, Board President for the Lake Mountain School District, Bridgepoint School provides educational and vocational services for 100 to 150 special needs students upon their graduation from high school. The 18-to-22-year-old interns are provided with guidance and instruction to transition into an adult lifestyle, aided by the assistance of speech pathologists, physical and occupational therapists, and nursing and support staff. The school, which is currently housed in a portable building, will occupy 18,453 square feet of space within 2433 N Redwood Road.

"Achieving a long-term solution to our real estate requirements will provide much-needed stability and security to our program," King explained. "Bridgepoint School provides essential services to vulnerable young people, and it was extremely important to identify a location which provides a safe and nurturing environment. The flexibility of the single-story building will enable us to create a variety of spaces to suit our needs including classrooms, clinical areas, conference rooms and offices to support our teachers and medical staff. The location works perfectly as well, given the business community's proximity to the student job sites."

Beyond the functional space and convenient access to off-site job opportunities, the school district also recognized the value of the partnership. 2433 N Redwood Road, a 50,774 square foot flex/R&D building which was recently delivered, is now nearly 90% leased. St. John Properties also completed construction on 2409 and 2467 N Redwood Road, two inline retail buildings combining for over 25,000 square feet. A second flex/R&D building, containing 53,361 square feet at 2559 N Redwood Road is slated to be delivered in Q2 2027.
