Guerra selected as co-chair of Idaho chapter of the Italian Scientists & Scholars in North America Foundation

Katia Guerra, assistant professor of information technology management, has been appointed co-chair of the Idaho chapter of the Italian Scientists & Scholars in North America Foundation (ISSNAF).

ISSNAF is a nonprofit organization that unites more than 3,000 Italian scholars, researchers and technologists across North America. Its mission is to foster collaboration, celebrate innovation, and honor Italian heritage within the global academic community.

A native of Italy, Guerra earned her Bachelor of Law from the University of Pisa in Italy before moving to the United Kingdom to complete her Master of Law at University of Oxford. After a decade practicing as a qualified lawyer in Milan, Guerra crossed the Atlantic to pursue her Ph.D. in Business Computer Information Systems at the University of North Texas. Guerra began teaching at Boise State in 2022. Her teaching interests include information security, IT management and business intelligence.
