Toy & Joy: Help Us Share the Holiday Magic

'Tis the Season, and Hillsboro Firefighters Random Acts of Kindness is once again inviting community members to come together to help make the holidays brighter for local families through our annual Toy & Joy Toy Drive.

With your help, we'll continue our long-standing tradition of making the holiday season special for countless families in our community. This year, our goal is to help 700 families and over 2,500 children have a meaningful and memorable holiday.

Over the next five weeks (through December 9), we'll be collecting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages, including teens.

Toy donation barrels can be found at all our Hillsboro Fire & Rescue Fire Stations, other City facilities, including our Brookwood and Shute Park Libraries, the Civic Center, and the Hidden Creek Community Center, as well as several local businesses across town.

We'll also be collecting toy donations at the Hillsboro Holly Days Celebration on Saturday, November 21 - just look for the Hillsboro Fire & Rescue booth and the toy barrels. It's a great opportunity to join the holiday festivities and visit with your Hillsboro firefighters, too!

Then, on December 10, we'll collect all the donated toys and deliver them to our partners at the Hillsboro Elks Lodge, where they'll be organized and distributed to families ahead of the holidays.

Residents, businesses, and local community organizations are invited to join us in spreading kindness and holiday cheer through this annual toy drive - together, we can make the holiday brighter for so many in our community!
