BATON ROUGE, LA - October 2, 2025 - The Office of Mayor-President Sid Edwards, together with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, is inviting residents to help capture the spirit of our community through ImaginEBR: a parish-wide photo campaign that will showcase the beauty, culture, and character of East Baton Rouge Parish.
Through ImaginEBR, artists and residents alike can submit up to five original photographs for a chance to be featured on the official City-Parish website as part of its upcoming redesign. Selected images will be highlighted online with full credit to the artist.
"This campaign is an opportunity to see our parish through the eyes of the people who call it home," said Mayor-President Sid Edwards. "From downtown Baton Rouge to the communities of Zachary, Central, Baker, and St. George, every corner of East Baton Rouge Parish tells a story worth sharing. We want our residents' perspectives to shine on the city's digital front door."
Submissions are open to all residents across East Baton Rouge Parish, including those from Zachary, Central, St. George, and Baker. Each participant may submit up to five photos for consideration. The submission period begins October 2, 2025, and will close on November 1, 2025, with the possibility of an extension if additional entries are needed. Artists whose photos are selected will receive credit on the City-Parish website, and all submissions will remain the property of the artist. Photos will not be sold or reproduced for profit.
Photos can be submitted online via Submittable at: https://artsbr.submittable.com/submit/338352/call-to-photographers-showcase-on-ebr-parish-website
