Redwood City has launched the 2025 National Community Survey to gather input from community members on local government services, community priorities, and overall quality of life. The results will help guide the City's strategic planning initiatives and provide valuable insight to better understand community priorities and experiences.
Developed by the National Research Center at Polco, a National Community Survey (The NCS) is a benchmark tool used by cities nationwide to gather statistically valid, representative feedback from residents. The survey measures opinions on key areas such as the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, community engagement, and overall livability.
In addition to mailed surveys sent to randomly selected households, all community members age 18 and older are invited to participate through the open participation survey available through October 16.
All responses are confidential and securely stored by Polco. Results will be compiled into a public report and data dashboard, expected to be available in early 2026.
