Winnipeg, MB - At 6:27 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a house on Acadia Bay.
At the scene, crews found smoke coming from the house. Firefighters attacked the fire and declared it under control at 7:01 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The City of Winnipeg's Emergency Social Services team responded to the scene to provide temporary support to displaced residents.
Firefighters rescued two dogs and treated them on scene. The City of Winnipeg's Animal Services Agency responded to the scene to provide support for the dogs.
The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
