PORTALES, NM - Dec. 12, 2025 -The Eastern New Mexico University Board of Regents affirmed the ENMU Administration's November recommendation of a zero percent tuition and fee rate increase for ENMU students during the 2026-27 school year.

The zero percent increase was made possible by continued state support, stable enrollment, student retention, and efficient operations.

"ENMU remains committed to doing our part to make higher education accessible and affordable for our students," said Dr. James Johnston, ENMU chancellor. "I appreciate the work of my leadership team and the support of the Board of Regents in this effort."
