Busy Weekend in Downtown Tampa News Convention Center, News General, News Parking, News Parks and Recreation, News Special Events Coordination, News Transportation Advisories[...]

Do not just leave your drive to luck, prepare for a packed Saturday in and around downtown, as numerous events, including the River O' Green and St. Patrick's Parade celebrations, draw in tens of thousands of visitors.

Leave your friends green with envy by avoiding the inevitable traffic jams by using alternative transportation options like the FREE TECO Line Streetcar, DASH service, HART buses, rentable scooters, bikes etc. (Remember, all downtown City of Tampa Parking Garages have free covered bicycle parking.)

  • Molten FL PreQualifier Volleyball Tournament @ Tampa Convention Center - 8 AM
  • River O' Green @ Curtis Hixon Park - 11 AM
  • NY Yankees Spring Training @ Steinbrenner Field - 1 PM
  • St Patrick's Parade @ Downtown - 2 PM
  • Straz Shows @ 2 PM, 2:30 PM, 7 PM, 7:30 PM
  • Zach Bryan Concert @ Raymond James Stadium - 7 PM
  • Tampa Bay Lightning Game @ Benchmark International Arena - 7 PM

NOTE: Due to the parade route, no one will be able to enter or exit the Poe Garage between the hours of 1:30 P.M. - 5 P.M.

Parade route roads close at 11 AM

  • Cass St. between Tyler St. and Tampa St.
  • Gasparilla Plaza between Cass St. and Ashley Dr.
  • Ashley Dr. between Tyler St. and Kennedy Blvd.
  • Marion St. between Cass St. and Kennedy Blvd.
  • Franklin St. between Cass St. and Kennedy Blvd.
