Governor Shapiro Signs 23 Bills into Law | Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Harrisburg, PA - Today, Governor Josh Shapiro signed HB 482, HB 858, HB 1102, HB 1286, HB 1646, HB 1830, HB 1851, HB 1860, HB 1862, HB 2017, HB 2024, HB 2426, HB 2559, SB 45, SB 130, SB 331, SB 349, SB 511, SB 779, SB 992, SB 1058, SB 1181, SB 1294, and SB 1353 into law.

Among the bills signed today are measures that build on Governor Shapiro's work to cut red tape, expand Pennsylvania's workforce, and address critical workforce shortages across the Commonwealth. By streamlining professional licensing, expanding interstate licensure opportunities, and modernizing state processes, the legislation Governor Shapiro signed today will help more Pennsylvanians get on the job faster while simultaneously strengthening Pennsylvania's workforce.

The Governor also signed legislation that builds on his Administration's commitment to supporting Pennsylvania's nearly 650,000 veterans by expanding access to the benefits and resources they earned through their service and ensuring veterans and their families can more easily connect with the support they deserve.

"Even with one of the only divided legislatures in the country, we are still showing that we can come together to get stuff done for Pennsylvanians," said Governor Shapiro. "I'm proud of the work we've done together to cut red tape for working Pennsylvanians, address critical workforce shortages, expand support for survivors of sexual assault, and ensure our veterans can access the benefits they've earned through their service."
