WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) applauded President Trump's nomination of Joe Falvey to serve as a United States District Judge for the Northern District of Indiana.
"Joe has dedicated much of his career to serving our country, from his service in the Marine Corps to his work in our federal judicial system. His extensive legal experience and commitment to public service will serve Hoosiers well on the federal bench. I congratulate Joe on his nomination and look forward to supporting his confirmation," said Senator Young.
Falvey currently serves as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana. He previously clerked for Chief Justice John Roberts of the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Thomas Griffith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and Judge Dabney Friedrich of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Falvey earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Yale Law School. A native Hoosier, he is also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
The Northern District of Indiana includes the South Bend, Fort Wayne, and Hammond divisions.
