Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Attends the Reception Marking the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan

On September 18, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin, upon invitation, attended the Reception Marking the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted by the Embassy of Tajikistan in China.

Liu Bin extended congratulations on the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan's independence and stated that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Emomali Rahmon, China-Tajikistan relations have yielded fruitful results. China is willing to work with Tajikistan, guided by the implementation of the important consensus reached by the two heads of state, to strengthen the alignment of development strategies, advance mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, help achieve their respective development goals, and continuously enrich the substance of the China-Tajikistan community with a shared future.

In his speech, Tajik Ambassador to China Saidzoda Zohir spoke highly of Tajikistan-China relations, stating that China is one of Tajikistan's most important strategic partners and that cooperation with China is crucial for Tajikistan to achieve its national development goals.
