Inseason Action #19-21 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, North of Cape Falcon (Recreational & Commercial)

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the commercial and recreational salmon fishery north of Cape Falcon.

Inseason Action #19:

  • Effective 12:01 AM Friday, September 5, 2025 through 11:59 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2025 the commercial troll fishery in the area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon, OR (the North of Falcon Area) is open. The landing and possession limit is 10 Chinook salmon and 4 adipose-marked coho salmon per vessel for the entire open period.

Inseason Action #20:

  • Effective 12:01 AM Thursday, September 11, 2025 the commercial troll fishery in the area between the U.S./Canada border and Cape Falcon, OR (the North of Falcon Area) is closed.

Inseason Action #21

  • Effective 12:01 AM Sunday, September 7, 2025, the recreational fishery in the area between Cape Alava and the U.S./Canada border (Neah Bay Subarea) is closed to fishing for salmon.
