TAMPA, FL. (MAY 7, 2026) - -Tampa Police are investigating a traffic fatality that occurred early Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Just after 5:00 am, Tampa Police Officers responded to a nearby hospital after the reports of an adult male in his early 40s being brought there after being hit by a car near the intersection of N. Armenia Ave. and E. Hamilton Ave. The man later died from his injuries.

Investigators immediately began gathering evidence and developing leads in the case. Detectives would like to talk to the driver of the vehicle to determine what, if anything, they may know about the incident.
