Tower FCU & TowerCares Announce Results of $250,000 Community Giving Initiative

Tower Federal Credit Union (Tower) announced the voting results of $250,000 for a Brighter America, a community giving initiative celebrating America's 250th anniversary.

Through the campaign, Tower and the TowerCares Foundation (TowerCares) will invest $250,000 in charities supporting military heroes, Veterans, and children in need.

As part of the initiative, Tower members helped direct $50,000 of the donation by voting for one of five local TowerCares charity partners.

Each charity is guaranteed a minimum $5,000 donation. The remaining $25,000 will be distributed based on the percentage of eligible votes each organization received.

Investing in a Brighter Future

The campaign reflects Tower's over 70-year legacy of giving back to the people and communities it serves, according to President and CEO Rick Stafford.

"As we celebrate America's 250th anniversary, we're proud to invest in local organizations that strengthen our neighborhoods and communities through the $250,000 for a Brighter America campaign," Stafford said. "We are especially grateful to our members, employees, and those in the community who took the time to vote and help direct a portion of these funds. Their participation demonstrates the power of coming together to support causes that matter. Together, we are building a brighter future for military heroes, Veterans, and children in need right here in our local community."
