With the completion of paving and striping last week, the last stage of the Downtown Tempe Refresh is complete! All that remains are small but important tasks, like installing bike racks.
The Downtown Tempe Refresh is the first major infrastructure project for this area in 40 years. Work included new electrical lines, a new irrigation system, new and wider brick sidewalks,112 new trees and 26 Ficus trees saved. Several new businesses have recently opened or will open later this fall.
