On behalf of the United States of America, I offer my sincere congratulations to the people of El Salvador as you celebrate the 204th anniversary of your independence.
The bond between the United States and El Salvador has never been stronger. Under the leadership of President Trump and President Bukele both of our nations are paving the way towards a more prosperous future. Our enduring partnership as we work together to combat illegal immigration, foster economic growth, and ensure regional security is a testament to the strong ties our nations share.
We join the people of El Salvador in celebrating this important national day.
