Stafford County Board of Supervisors to Go on Legislative Recess

Starting July 8, 2026, the Stafford County Board of Supervisors will join many localities in taking a summer break, or legislative recess. This recess traditionally takes place between July and mid-August.

Although the supervisors will not hold regular public meetings during this recess, the essential functions of local government will continue without interruption as County staff will ensure the operation of government services. The Board of Supervisors encourages community members to continue reaching out, ensuring a steadfast commitment to serving the public.

The regularly scheduled Board of Supervisors meetings will reconvene on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 5:00 pm. It will be a B Day but will include a Consent section on the agenda.
