    Police responded to a Somerville Ave business for a shoplifting. Police were able to stop and identify the suspect, they were formally trespassed. The merchandise was returned and the store did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

    A Fitchburg resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court on a charge of Possessing Ammunition without an FID Card. Officers interacted with the individual after they attempted to enter a building on Main St. and were denied access by security.

    Brian Shine, 49, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a charge of Carrying a Dangerous Weapon. Police responded to a restaurant on the 1000 Block of Cambridge Street for reports of a disturbance over a food order. Nearby officers stopped a vehicle which was said to have been involved, during the interaction the operator (Shine) was found to be in possession of a dangerous weapon.
