Police responded to a Somerville Ave business for a shoplifting. Police were able to stop and identify the suspect, they were formally trespassed. The merchandise was returned and the store did not wish to pursue criminal charges.

Brian Shine, 49, of Cambridge, was placed under arrest on a charge of Carrying a Dangerous Weapon. Police responded to a restaurant on the 1000 Block of Cambridge Street for reports of a disturbance over a food order. Nearby officers stopped a vehicle which was said to have been involved, during the interaction the operator (Shine) was found to be in possession of a dangerous weapon.
