Denver, October 12, 2026 - Today, Secretary of State Jena Griswold announced Pine Creek High School Senior Halle G. as the winner of Colorado's 2026 "I Voted" Digital Sticker Design Contest.

"Congratulations to Halle for her outstanding design!" said Secretary Griswold. "I hope that voters are raring up and ready to cast their ballots this year. Voters who get updates via BallotTrax will receive this special Blucifer 'I Voted' digital sticker after their ballot has been accepted. Please make your voice heard, and share the digital sticker on social media!"
"I'm really excited that my artwork was selected," said Halle. "Winning means a lot to me because I worked really hard on the design, and I'm glad people connected with it."
Halle lives in Colorado Springs. When thinking about her design, Halle considered some of the symbols that are distinctly Colorado, but may not always be the first things people think of. That led her to one of the state's most recognizable - and unique - landmarks: Mustang - the blue sculpture created by artist Luis A. Jimenez, Jr. standing outside of Denver International Airport. The sculpture is also affectionately referred to as Blucifer.
"I thought Blucifer would be really cool to include," said Halle. "I think having fun imagery can get people excited about voting and help show that voting is important."
Halle also has an interest in majoring in political science and sees civic participation as something that extends across generations. "Voting impacts people of all ages," said Halle. "Young people should be represented in our democracy too, no matter their age."
When voters who are enrolled in BallotTrax have their ballot accepted, they'll get a notification including their digital Blucifer "I Voted" sticker to share with friends and on social media. Don't horse around - return your ballot by 7:00 PM on Election Day. The Secretary of State's Office thanks every Colorado high school student who submitted a design for consideration.
BallotTrax enables voters to receive notifications by phone, email, or text about the status of their mail ballot, from the time it is mailed to the voter, to when it is received, and to when it is counted. Colorado voters can enroll in BallotTrax by visiting www.GoVoteColorado.gov .
More than 2.3 million Colorado voters are enrolled in BallotTrax - over 57% of the active electorate.
