Apply now for an APRICOT 2027 Fellowship

The APRICOT 2027 Fellowship committee chairs are Aftab Siddiqui and Rupesh Shrestha.

Fellowship applications are open for Asia Pacific's largest international Internet technologies and operations conference, APRICOT 2027, which will be held from 24 February to 4 March 2027 in Hong Kong SAR.

APRICOT fellowships give individuals from developing economies in the Asia Pacific region the opportunity to learn from regional and international experts, network with other Internet professionals, gain new industry insights, and engage in industry discussions.

Applicants need to be actively involved in Internet technical operations in any of the following capacities:

• Network engineering and network design
• Network operations and Network Operations Centres
• Internet systems engineering and systems operations

Applicants for the APRICOT fellowship need to:

• Demonstrate suitable technical expertise in the advanced training topics selected (if applicable)
• Describe their local Internet community involvement in a technical or operational capacity
• Demonstrate financial hardship that would make participation in APRICOT otherwise impossible

Applications are welcome from across the region, including from prior APRICOT fellows.

2027 fellowship package

Applicants selected for the APRICOT 2027 fellowship program will receive the following support:

• 100% of the registration fees for the APRICOT masterclass or conference
• 100% of the accommodation costs (five nights) at the APRICOT fellows' hotel
• 80% of the approved return economy airfare to Hong Kong (up to a maximum of USD 1,000) payable after acceptance of the fellow's event report
