SiriusXM and SmartLess Media Announce New Podcast "I Need You Guys," Hosted by Jenny Slate, Max Silvestri, and Gabe Liedman

Premiering October 21, the show invites listeners into the group chat of three longtime friends

NEW YORK - October 6, 2025- SiriusXM and SmartLess Media today announced the upcoming launch of "I Need You Guys," a brand-new podcast hosted by longtime friends and comedians Jenny Slate, Max Silvestri, and Gabe Liedman. Unveiled during SiriusXM's Built With Audio event in New York, the show will premiere on October 21.

Jenny Slate, Max Silvestri, and Gabe Liedman are comedians who've been friends for over two decades. And despite life taking them in all different directions, they are committed to staying in touch and leaning on each other for the type of advice you'd only get from a true friend. "I Need You Guys" is their group chat made public - where they catch up, spill their guts, and welcome new and old friends to the chat every episode.

Special guests will include John Mulaney, Nick Kroll, Michelle Buteau, Kate Berlant, Kumail Nanjiani, Sean Hayes, Jason Mantzoukas, Ron Funches, and more.

In a joint statement, Jenny, Max, and Gabe said: "Starting a podcast where you talk about stuff that happened with people you've known a long time is one of the most vulnerable things a human can do, and we're proud to be the first three people to ever do it. New episodes of "I Need You Guys" will be available every Tuesday on the SiriusXM App or wherever podcasts are available.

About the Hosts

Jenny Slateis a critically acclaimed actress, comedian, and New York Times bestselling author. She is best known for her recent performance in the FX series Dying for Sex, which earned her both a Gotham Award win and an Emmy nomination. Slate is also known for her role in A24's Obvious Child, and for co-creating, co-writing, and voicing Marcel The Shell With Shoes On-the beloved YouTube series and Academy Award-nominated film. Her comedy special Jenny Slate: Seasoned Professional is now streaming on Prime Video.

Gabe Liedmanis an accomplished writer and producer whose credits span television and film. He recently wrapped writing for Loot (Apple TV+) and is currently working on the upcoming Muppets special for Disney+. Liedman created and ran the animated queer spy series Q-Force for Netflix and served as co-showrunner for Hulu's Emmy-nominated Pen15. His additional credits include I Love That For You, Never Have I Ever, Transparent, Broad City, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Kroll Show, and Inside Amy Schumer.

Max Silvestriis a comedian, writer, and actor currently serving as Executive Producer on the upcoming HBO series I Love LA, starring Rachel Sennott. He is also adapting The Department of Sensitive Crimes for AMC alongside Case Study Films and Fabel Entertainment. Silvestri's writing credits include Killing It, Big Mouth, Human Resources, Medical Police, and Billy on the Street. As an actor, he has appeared in The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Broad City, and Aaron Sorkin's Being the Ricardos.
