Splash into the holidays and Swim with Santa on Dec. 20

Celebrate the holiday season with a Florida twist as the North Port Aquatic Center, 6205 W. Price Blvd., hosts its annual Swim with Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Families are invited to join Santa Claus, who is trading in his sleigh for swim trunks, for a festive morning of swimming, games and holiday fun. Children and parents can enjoy a variety of activities, including holiday-themed crafts and poolside games, all set in a tropical atmosphere.

Guests are encouraged to bring cameras to capture memorable photos with Santa in this unique sunny setting. To help keep everyone in the holiday spirit, complimentary cookies and hot chocolate will be available at the concession stand.

"Swim with Santa is a wonderful way for families to come together, share in the joy of the season and create lasting holiday memories," said Aquatics Manager Devón Poulos. "We are proud to offer events like this that bring the community together in a fun, family-friendly environment."

The cost for the event is $15 per child, which includes admission and activities. Adults supervising children under the age of 10 are admitted free and must monitor child in the water. Calling all philanthropic businesses! To help make the season even brighter, the North Port Aquatic Center is seeking donations of new, unwrapped presents and gift cards to ensure every child attending Swim with Santa receives a special gift to take home. Community support plays a vital role in creating joyful experiences for local families, and all contributions, big or small, are appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the North Port Aquatic Center during regular operating hours through Dec. 12. Together, we can help spread holiday cheer and make this event unforgettable for every child.
