Each month, the Mayor hosts an informal morning gathering that gives residents a comfortable setting to talk about the city, learn about current and upcoming projects, and share ideas about important topics.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, and many people stop by simply to enjoy a warm cup of coffee while catching up on what is happening in their neighborhood. Others come hoping to understand more about upcoming initiatives or to ask a question that has been on their mind. The conversations provide helpful insight for both residents and City leadership.
The next event will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at College of the Desert, inside the Cravens Student Services Center at 43500 Monterey Ave. The campus provides a lively backdrop that reflects the educational opportunities found only in Palm Desert.
Residents are encouraged to stop by, share a thought, ask a question, or simply enjoy the company. Each cup poured is an opportunity to become more connected and engaged with the city we call home. For more information, visit EngagePalmDesert.com.
