It's time to grab your jersey, find your foam finger and break out the party snacks - football season is officially back. To kick off the excitement, we're giving you a first look at this season's playbook, including a second-year partnership with NBCUniversal, fun ad spots and Best Buy's all-star tech team.
"The start of football season is a huge moment in our customers' lives, and how they get ready for game day is a core part of the experience," said Jennie Weber, Best Buy's chief marketing officer. "We're thrilled to show our customers how the right tech plays a huge part in creating that gameday magic, with the help of some familiar faces along the way."
Best Buy and NBCUniversal are teaming up for a second year, and fans will get a front row seat to all the action ahead of tonight's kickoff.
This season, Gram, Best Buy's spokeshologram, is back with NBC Sports' Football Night in America hosts Maria Taylor and Chris Simms. From slushy makers to recovery tech to the Nintendo Switch 2, Gram is ready to help players and fans gear up with this season's latest gadgets.
The sponsorship with NBCUniversal features exclusive ad spots that will air across NBC and Peacock, created in partnership with Best Buy's marketing teams and NBCUniversal's Marketing and Brand Partnerships team, as well as in-game placements. Here's a sneak peek of the spot that'll air just before gametime:
This season, Gram is taking on a new role as a self-proclaimed Special Tech Coordinator. See how a PlayStation 5, Breville espresso maker and Segway scooter create ultimate teched-out office space. Oh, and you can't forget the self-care, of course.
New this year, we've drafted the ultimate team - the Best Buy Tech Team - to highlight how tech can be the MVP of the football season. We've tapped eight lifestyle creators to showcase how tech can level up the gameday experience. You might've spotted some of these creators on your social feed or they might even support and share a last name with your favorite player.
Best Buy's Tech Team features NFL veteran Isaac Rochell and well-known influencers like Melanie Ekeler, Julie Ertz, Kelly Stafford and Claire Kittle. And we're bringing in football fans like The McFarlands, Trey Kennedy and CookingwithDarryl to help showcase all the ways gameday can be successful with the help of Best Buy tech.
