Gov. Reynolds appoints Rebecca L. Petig as District Associate Judge
Today, Governor Kim Reynolds announced her appointment of Rebecca L. Petig as a district associate judge in Judicial District 6.
Petig, of Grinnell, Iowa, serves as magistrate for the 8th Judicial District. She received her undergraduate degree from Grinnell College and law degree from Northwestern School of Law, Lewis & Clark College.
Petig fills a vacancy created following the resignation of the Hon. Cynthia S. Finley. Judicial District 6 includes Benton, Iowa, Johnson, Jones, Linn and Tama Counties.
