CBP to host Marine Interdiction Agent recruitment webinar

WASHINGTON - U.S. Customs and Border Protection is recruiting for Marine Interdiction Agent positions and will host a virtual recruitment webinar Sept. 22 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. EDT.

The webinar will offer participants an opportunity to learn about Air and Marine Operations, Marine Interdiction Agent career opportunities, and the hiring process. Participants will hear directly from Marine Interdiction Agents about CBP's mission and the work AMO does every day. Recruiters and professional staff also will be available to answer questions about the hiring process and other topics.

Marine Interdiction Agents conduct marine law enforcement operations to detect, prevent, interdict and apprehend terrorists, terrorist weapons, and other contraband and people from illegally entering or attacking the United States.

"Operating more than 300 marine vessels in locations throughout the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Air and Marine Operations maintains a sophisticated domain awareness network vital to the security of our country," said AMO Executive Assistant Commissioner Jonathan Miller. "Our Marine Interdiction Agents bring skill and commitment to this important mission to keep the homeland safe. The webinar is informational only. No interviews will be conducted, and no job offers will be made.
