When crews complete the demolition of the Farm to Market road (FM) 989/Kings Highway bridge later this week, weather permitting, Interstate 30 (I-30) eastbound will reopen with a new traffic pattern.
Eastbound I-30 local and thru traffic will split west of FM 989 / Kings Highway and have the following options:
Northbound Interstate 369 (I-369) / U.S. Highway (U.S.) 59 north traffic will have the following options:
Westbound I-30 lanes will be restored to two, traditional side-by-side travel lanes with all exit and entrance ramps open. Once construction to widen the interstate is complete, three lanes will be open in each direction. This traffic pattern will be in place through phase 3, which is expected to be completed late summer 2027.
The schedule is subject to change due to weather and/or other unforeseen circumstances.
